(CBS) – The story of a Playboy playmate body shaming a naked elderly woman at the gym is grabbing headlines across the country.
There’s another case of secret photography at a gym and body shaming that’s getting attention here in Chicago.
CBS 2’s Dana Kozlov reports.
Seventy-three-year old Matt Deletioglu saw video of himself working out at the L.A. Fitness at Clark and Diversey. It was posted by fellow member Pietro Maze, who called Deletioglu “sick, negative and annoying.”
Deletioglu and his son notified gym management, and last month sent a letter and packet of Maze’s posts to the gym’s corporate headquarters.
Father and son say, so far, no one has responded.
Kozlov went directly to the source.
Maze said he would no longer post such videos.
The behavior echoes concerns sparked by model Dani Mather’s disparaging post of a naked woman at her gym. L.A. Fitness managers here say taking videos and photos inside any of its clubs is prohibited and stated in members’ contracts.
Maze does have a warning in his membership file, a manager said. If he gets two more warnings or complaints, he could get his membership revoked.
