Chicago, Houston Mayors Make Food-Related Wager Over Cities' Sporting Showdowns This Weekend

(CBS) Usually this starts up when the playoffs do, but the mayors of Chicago and Houston couldn't wait.

Chicago mayor Rahm Emanuel and Houston mayor Sylvester Turner have made a food-related wager over the sporting matchups between their cities' respective teams this weekend. On Friday, the Cubs and Astros open a three-game set in Houston, while the Texans host the Bears on Sunday afternoon.

It sounds like a total of five points are at stake on the wager scoreboard -- each baseball game is worth one point, and football game is worth two. Is Houston wins, Emanuel's office has to send along deep-dish pizza. If Chicago wins, Turner's office has to send out some brisket.
