Cops: Man, 29, Shot Dead In Hermosa
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A 29-year-old man was shot to death in the Hermosa neighborhood on the West Side Sunday afternoon, according to Chicago Police.
Someone shot him in the chest at 3:08 p.m. in the 1600 block of North Karlov Avenue, and he was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital where he died, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office did not immediately confirm the death.
The victim is a documented gang member, police said. Additional details were not immediately available.
