CHICAGO (CBS) — A man was shot to death early Tuesday on the Near West Side, police said.
The 29-year-old was sitting in a vehicle about 2:55 a.m. at a stop light in the 200 block of South Western, when another male walked up and fired shots into the vehicle, according to Chicago Police.
The man was shot in the abdomen and taken to Stroger Hospital, where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner’s office did not immediately confirm the fatality.
