Report: Bears’ Lamarr Houston Has Torn ACL

(CBS) Bears linebacker Lamarr Houston has a torn ACL in his left knee, NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo reported Tuesday.

Houston suffered the injury in Monday’s loss to the Eagles. He’s expected to miss the rest of the season. Earlier Tuesday, Bears coach John Fox would only confirm that Houston had a serious knee injury.

It’s the second significant knee injury Houston has suffered in the past three seasons. In 2014, he tore the ACL in his right knee while celebrating a sack in a game the Bears were getting blown out in.

Houston had four tackles this season. He was a key contributor to the defense in 2015 with eight sacks.
