Man Grabs Female Jogger On Illinois Prairie Path

(CBS) -- Authorities are asking for the public's help identifying a suspicious man who grabbed a female jogger on the Illinois Prairie Path Monday morning in the west suburbs.

The female was jogging about 6:20 a.m. on the Illinois Prairie Path near Armburst Avenue and Pleasant Hill Road in unincorporated Wheaton when the suspect grabbed her from behind, according to a statement from the DuPage County sheriff's office.

The suspect was described as a 30-year-old, 5-foot-10 white or possibly Asian man with an athletic build and straight black hair, according to the statement. The man was wearing a light-colored tank top and black jogging pants.

Sheriff's deputies will be conducting extra patrols on the path.
