Report: Bears' Kyle Fuller Headed For Injured Reserve

(CBS) Bears cornerback Kyle Fuller's knee scope wasn't so minor after all.

Chicago will place Fuller on the injured reserve list, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport reported Tuesday afternoon. That doesn't necessarily mean he's done for the season, as he could come back in eight weeks, according to Rapoport.

Fuller underwent the knee procedure in mid-August and hasn't played in a regular-season game yet. He was initially deemed to be "week-to-week" by coach John Fox, but it's turned out to be far worse than that. Fuller was projected to be a starter for Chicago before his injury.

Jacoby Glenn and Deiondre' Hall are expected to continue receiving more playing time in Fuller's absence.

Looking for their first win of the season, the Bears (0-3) host the Lions on Sunday at Soldier Field.
