Report: Bears To Sign RB Joique Bell
(CBS) Beset by injury problems in the backfield, the Bears are signing running back Joique Bell, according to former NFL Media reporter Rand Getlin.
The 30-year-old Bell played the past four seasons for the Lions. He rushed for 311 yards and four touchdowns on 90 carries (3.5 yards per carry) in 2015 while also catching 22 passes for 286 yards.
Bears running backs Jeremy Langford (ankle) and Ka'Deem Carey (hamstring) have suffered injuries, leaving rookie Jordan Howard as the likely starter Sunday and the inexperienced Raheem Mostert behind him.
