Cubs Fan Get Tattoo Commemorating World Series Win Before Playoffs Even Start
(CBS) A sport's playoffs are almost upon us, meaning an (idiotic) annual tradition is underway.
Fans getting tattoos commemorating a championship for their favorite team before it has even happened.
In this case, it relates to MLB and the Cubs, who are sitting at an MLB-best 101-57 with four regular-season games left. It's their turn to have a fan prematurely get inked up: Noel in the Des Moines area, according to KXNO radio. He got the tattoo on his left leg.
"As a Cubs fan, you got to be optimistic,," Noel tells KXNO. "They will win."
The Cubs are seeking their first title since 1908. Their the odds-on favorite to win the World Series, but with baseball's postseason being so fickle, most models project them with a little more than a 20 percent chance of being victorious.
