Cubs' Lineup For Thursday's Series Finale Is ... Spring Training-Like
(CBS) When the Cubs finish up a four-game series against the Pirates at PNC Park on Thursday night, they'll be doing so with what manager Joe Maddon has termed a "bullpen day." Lefty reliever Rob Zastryzny will start, while a line of bullpen arms will follow him.
In doing so, they'll be flanked by the most spring training-like starting lineup you'll probably find all year for the Cubs in the regular season. Basically, ever regular starter except for shortstop Addison Russell has the night off.
Take a look:
3B Tommy La Stella
CF Albert Almora Jr.
SS Addison Russell
LF Willson Contreras
1B Javier Baez
RF Matt Szczur
C Tim Federowicz
2B Munenori Kawasaki
P Rob Zastryzny
