Bears' Jeffery, Royal, Miller Questionable For Sunday; McPee Practices

By Chris Emma--

(CBS) Bears receivers Alshon Jeffery and Eddie Royal plus tight end Zach Miller are listed as questionable for Sunday's game with the Jaguars, but all are expected to play.

Jeffery has been nursing a hamstring ailment this week, while Royal has been managing a knee injury. Both were listed as questionable for Week 5 against the Colts, and each played. Jeffery has been limited in practice while Royal hasn't practiced at all since landing on the injury report. Miller landed on the injury report this week but has worked through his ribs injury.

The Bears have taken extra precautions to monitor injuries, which has made for long injury reports each week.

Coach John Fox revealed the list of questionables Friday at Halas Hall, which includes guard Josh Sitton, tackle Bobby Massie, linebacker Willie Young, linebacker Leonard Floyd, cornerback Tracy Porter, cornerback Bryce Callahan, linebacker Sam Acho and running back Ka'Deem Carey.

Quarterback Jay Cutler, running back Jeremy Langford and nose tackle Eddie Goldman have been listed as doubtful for the game, as expected. None of the three practiced this week. Rookie cornerback Deiondre' Hall has been ruled out.

Good news came for the Bears with the return of linebacker Pernell McPhee, who practiced for the first time this season. McPhee spent the first six weeks of the season on the physically-unable-to-perform list after missing the entire preseason and offseason workouts while recovering from a knee procedure.

"It was good to see a smile on his face," Fox said of McPhee. "It was the first time he's got a chance to go out there and actually practice with the team and go through some drills. He primarily did scout team work since he can't play this Sunday. But I think, all in all, it was a positive day for him."

McPhee isn't eligible to play in Sunday's game. Fox wouldn't give a timetable for his return to action. It's likely that the Bears won't rush McPhee back for the short next week, which includes a Thursday game in Green Bay. The Bears have 21 days to bring McPhee back.

Receiver Marquess Wilson remains on the PUP list and was seen by reporters wearing a walking boot Friday.

Kickoff between the Bears and Jaguars comes at noon on Sunday from Soldier Field.
