Cubs Start Willson Contreras At C, Keep Addison Russell At SS In Game 4

(CBS) Facing more adversity than they have all season, the Cubs are primarily sticking with what's got them to this point. They're making minor tweaks to their lineup for Game 4 of the National League Championship Series, which they trail 2-1 against the Dodgers entering Wednesday night.

Willson Contreras will start at catcher and bat sixth, while Jason Heyward returns to the lineup and hits seventh after not starting in Game 3.  Addison Russell will remain the starting shortstop despite being mired in a 1-of-24 slump, though he'll bat eighth. He'd usually been the team's No. 5 hitter before dropping to seventh in Game 3.

Cubs veteran right-hander John Lackey will opposes 20-year-old Dodgers rookie left-hander Julio Urias, who started twice this season against Chicago. He was tagged for six runs, five earned, in five innings in a loss in early June. He was much better against the Cubs in late August, picking up a win with six innings of one-run ball.
