Bears Guard Josh Sitton Joins Eddie Royal On Sidelines For Thursday's Game

By Chris Emma--

GREEN BAY, Wis. (CBS) -- There will be no reunion for Josh Sitton against his former team. The Bears' starting left guard is out for Thursday's contest with the Packers.

Sitton joins Bears receiver Eddie Royal on the sidelines after being ruled out prior to kickoff. Sitton suffered an ankle injury late in the fourth quarter of Sunday's loss to the Jaguars. Sitton was released by Green Bay prior to Week 1, then quickly scooped up by Chicago.

The Bears ruled out Royal on Wednesday with their final injury report of the week. He suffered a toe injury during Sunday's contest.

Rookie outside linebacker Leonard Floyd is active after missing two games. He will join Pernell McPhee, who was activated from the physically-unable-to-perform list on Thursday.

Bears cornerbacks Tracy Porter and Bryce Callahan are both active after missing practice this week. They will start at cornerback against Aaron Rodgers and the Packers.

The Bears' inactives include no surprises, with Jay Cutler, Jeremy Langford, Eddie Goldman, Deiondre' Hall and DeAndre Houston-Carson.

Packers running back Eddie Lacy was ruled out Thursday.

Kickoff between the Bears and Packers comes at 7:25 p.m. CT from Lambeau Field. Chicago owns the edge in the NFL's oldest rivalry, 94-92-6.
