Watch: Bears Stuff Packers At Goal Line On 4th Down

By Ryan Mayer--

(CBS Local) The Packers largely dominated the Bears in terms of time of possession and yardage in the first quarter Thursday night and yet, but score at the end of the quarter was just 3-0 in favor of Green Bay.

The reason why? The Bears defense stiffened twice with the Packers inside the red zone. The first time, they stopped Davante Adams short of a first down to force a Mason Crosby field goal. On the Pack's next drive, they were able to make a goal line stand following a 90-yard drive from Aaron Rodgers and company.

After Rodgers tried to draw them offside and had to call a timeout, receiver/running back Ty Montgomery got the call, and the Bears stuffed him inside the 1-yard line.
