Clinton And Trump Are Neck And Neck -- At Chicago Costume Shop, Anyway

(CBS) -- A decidedly unscientific presidential poll in Chicago has Trump and Clinton about even.

As WBBM's Steve Miller reports, don't read too much into it.

Sometimes the number of masks sold at Halloween costume shops indicates who's ahead in the presidential race.

And as for Hillary Clinton and Donald Trump masks?

"We've been selling about 50-50 right now -- so not one more than the other as of yet," manager Cathy Bunger says.

Zee Spagnolo does the wigs at Fantasy Costumes.  And this year there's a lot of demand for Trump hair.

"The most important thing is that big sweep-over, side sweep-over.  And he combs it back like it's blowing in the wind half the times," Spagnolo says.

The store has been busy, but this year has been atypical, because the Chicago Cubs playoff run kept people glued to TV sets.

"The only people who shop are the ones who could care less about the Cubs game and are happy that the store is quiet," Bunger says.
