Woman, 70, Fatally Struck By Vehicle In Palos Park
(CBS) -- A 70-year-old woman died Saturday evening after she was struck by a vehicle in southwest suburban Palos Park.
Sonja M. Klein was struck by a Jeep at West 131st Street and South 86th Avenue in Palos Park, according to the Cook County medical examiner's office.
Klein, who lived nearby in the 13100 block of South 86th Avenue in Palos Park, was taken to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn, where she died at 6:08 p.m. Saturday, according to the medical examiner's office.
An autopsy Sunday found she died of blunt force injuries from being struck by a Jeep, and her death was ruled an accident.
