Police: Man Shot Dead In Gresham Drive-By
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was shot Sunday afternoon in the Gresham neighborhood on the South Side.
At 2:03 p.m., the 18-year-old man was sitting in a parked vehicle in the 8800 block of South Marshfield when someone fired shots from a dark colored SUV, according to Chicago Police. The SUV then drove away northbound on Marshfield.
The man suffered several shots to the chest and took himself to Christ Medical Center in Oak Lawn where he was pronounced dead, police said. The Cook County medical examiner's office could not immediately confirm the death.
