Reports: Yoenis Cespedes Back To Mets In First Big Move Of Offseason

(CBS) In the first major move of the MLB offseason, star outfielder Yoenis Cespedes is returning to the Mets, according to multiple reports.

The deal is for four years and $110 million, according to Jeff Passan of Yahoo Sports.

Cespedes had 31 homers, 86 RBIs and an .884 OPS in 132 games last season, when he was an All-Star for the second time.

Cespedes' return to the Mets comes five days before the start of the Winter Meetings, when more flurries of activity are expected -- assuming there's no lockout come later in the week as the league and union continue to work on a new collective bargaining agreement.
