(CBS) Blackhawks winger Artemi Panarin has been named the NHL’s First Star of the Week.
In four games last week, Panarin had 10 points, with seven assists and three goals. He had a multi-point night in all four contests, helping the league-leading Blackhawks run their winning streak to five games. Panari had the assists on both of Chicago’s goals in a 2-1 win against the New York Rangers and also had a pair of three-point nights.
Panarin has 34 points, the third-most in the league, in 34 games.
