Blackhawks Send Tyler Motte To AHL Rockford
(CBS) The Blackhawks on Tuesday assigned forward Tyler Motte to AHL Rockford.
The 21-year-old rookie Motte has four goals and three assists in 33 games with the Blackhawks in his debut season, which saw him make the roster out of camp. Motte has just one point in his past 21 games.
The decision was made as winger Marian Hossa nears a return from an upper-body injury that's kept him out since Dec. 20.
The Blackhawks next play Thursday, when they host the Sabres.
