Man Arrested After Woman Found Shot To Death In Orland Park
CHICAGO (CBS) -- A man was arrested Friday afternoon in the southwest suburbs after a woman was found shot to death in the garage of her home.
According to Orland Park police and the Cook County medical examiner's office, authorities found 60-year-old Mary Homolka dead in the garage from a gunshot wound to the head.
Homolka was pronounced dead at 4:10 p.m. Authorities are ruled her death as a homicide. A man was in police custody Saturday as the investigation continued.
The victim's husband, Raymond Homolka, is in custody at the Orland Park Police Department. He's had some run-ins with police before, including a drunk driving charge in December.
