Tornado Damage Reported In Naplate In LaSalle County

CHICAGO (CBS) -- Multiple first responders have been dispatched to Naplate, Ill., after reports of damage from a tornado.

According to dispatch reports, buildings are down near 18th and Center Street.

There are reports that people may be trapped.

A third alarm has been called to that location.

Napate is a town of about 500 people.

David Giuliani, a reporter for the Ottawa Times, tweeted damage in town.

The Times, on its Facebook page, is reporting at least one fatality in South Ottawa.
