Watch: Cubs’ Jason Heyward Drills Home Run For His First Hit Of The Spring

(CBS) Amid a much-discussed swing overhaul after an abysmal 2016 season, Cubs outfielder Jason Heyward had started the spring where he left off last year by going 0-for-15.

That changed Monday, when Heyward got his first hit — a long home run to right field off of Angels right-hander Jesse Chavez. Take a look below.
