Blackhawks Sign Forward Matheson Iacopelli To 2-Year Deal

(CBS) The Blackhawks have signed 22-year-old forward Matheson Iacopelli to a two-year deal that runs through the 2018-'19 season, they announced Tuesday.

Iacopelli will report to the AHL Rockford Icehogs. He had 20 goals and 16 assists in 40 games as a sophomore at Western Michigan last season. He played two seasons in the United State Hockey League before attending college for two years.

Chicago selected Iacopelli in the third round of the 2014 draft.
