Warnings For Pet Owners During Easter Season

CHICAGO (CBS) — The Easter holiday can be hard on your pets.

Chocolate is poisonous to dogs and cats.

If they get into the chocolate candy call the vet immediately.

Feeding pets fatty foods from the table puts them at risk of contracting pancreatitis, vets say.

And if you have a cat, keep lilies, which are poisonous to felines, out of the house.
