White Sox Reinstate Melky Cabrera From Paternity List, Send Down Willy Garcia

(CBS) The White Sox have reinstated outfielder Melky Cabrera from the paternity list ahead of a series opener at the Yankees on Monday night.

Cabrera missed the past three games to be there for the birth of his daughter Mianna, his fourth child. The White Sox added outfielder Willy Garcia in his place and have now sent Garcia back down to Triple-A Charlotte.

Cabrera is hitting .258 with two RBIs in eight games this year.
