(CBS) -- Two women and an infant died in fire overnight in southwest suburban Joliet.
Firefighters were called to a fire at 16 N. Center St. around 2 a.m. Saturday and found a house fully engulfed in flames, Joliet Police Chief Brian Benton tells CBS 2.
After putting out the fire, authorities learned two women -- 28 and 29 -- and an infant less than one year old were found dead inside, he said.
The cause of the fire is under investigation, he said.
A fourth occupant, a male, jumped out of a second-floor window and survived, Joliet fire officials said.
