Dan Ryan Expressway Shut Down After Shooting
CHICAGO (CBS) -- The northbound lanes of the Dan Ryan Expy. were shut down at 71st for more than four hours as Illinois State Police investigated a shooting Thursday.
Illinois State Police report that two people were shot and transported themselves to St. Bernard's Hospital.
The shooting occurred around 2 p.m. Northbound lanes reopened around 6 p.m.
The conditions of the two victims were not immediately available.
