Facade Falls Off Royal Thai Consulate On Rush Street

CHICAGO (CBS) - A falling façade forced the closure of a near north side sidewalk Tuesday afternoon.

A piece of façade fell off the Royal Thai Consulate on Rush Street near Huron Street.

Chicago Police responded to the scene and blocked off the area.

No one was hurt by any of the falling concrete.

The city's building department is investigating what caused the façade to come down.
