Freight Train Derailment Reported in Aurora

CHICAGO (CBS)--A multi-car freight train traveling through west suburban Aurora derailed Thursday at approximately 2:30 p.m.

A poultry-processing facility and Aurora Animal Care and Control are located below the train tracks. Both were evacuated by police.

"If it would have tipped the other way, then we'd have problems because of traffic and all that," said Seraefin Delgado. It would have come out toward my house."

No injuries were reported and Metra said passenger trains aren't being affected.
