Barry has been a host at 670 The Score since 2008. He hosts “Hit and Run” on Sundays at 9 a.m. He’s also done work for Fox 32 television since 2013 and been the sports columnist at the Daily Herald since 1997 following a decade covering the Cubs.
Rozner has won five Peter Lisagor and eight Associated Press awards and among his books are “Second to Home” with Ryne Sandberg and “Where’s Harry” with Steve Stone. In 2011, he was inducted into Northern Illinois University’s Northern Star Hall of Fame and in 2012 he was given NIU’s Distinguished Alumni Award.
Rozner has been recognized for his work writing about domestic violence and sexual assault in sports, including in 2015 when the Northwest Suburban Alliance on Domestic Violence presented him with the Wendell Jones Award.
