Gousman joined CBS 2 Chicago from KSDK-TV in St. Louis. Prior to that, she served as a news anchor and reporter at WEHT-TV in Evansville, Indiana, and KRGC-TV in Jefferson City, Missouri. She also served as an intern at Tribune Co.-owned CLTV in 2003.

“Other people’s stories fascinate me,” Gousman says. It serves as her inspiration and passion for journalism.

Gousman is a Chicago native and graduate of Chicago’s Whitney Young High School and Hampton University in Virginia.
