I have been an avid Score listener since the first days of the station and I respect you for your honest commentary and excellent articles in the Tribune. You often offer a uniqe perspective and I appreciate that.
So I have to ask you, if by chance the Bears do lose this game on Sunday, which is predicted by many football experts, will the sight of Virginia McCaskey standing on the 50 yard line of Soldiers Field, lifting the George Halas Trophy and handing it to Packer executives, coach-Mike McCarthy, team and the 100,000+ owners of the Packers chanting Go!! Pack!!! Go!!, cause Sunday to be the most embarrassing day in Chicago sports history. If Green Bay beats them handily will yours and many folks feelings be true that the Bears rode a “big horseshoe up their butt” all year and really did not have an offensive line or reciever corps necessary to win in the playoffs. Has their luck run out? Will OB and Doug be doubling up on their anxiety meds in the postgame firestorm and be calling for Lovie to be gone!
