Eric Brown
An alum of St. Norbert College, Brown has been associated with Newsradio 780 for more than two decades, covering every major pro sports team and university in the city. Reporting on the Bulls championship runs, the Blackhawks Stanley Cup chase and the drama of a Mark Buerhle no-hitter are just some of the highlights in his radio career.
Before Newsradio, Brown served as a news and sports anchor and reporter/photographer for nine years at WISC-TV, the CBS affiliate in Madison, WI. For three seasons at the station, he was the play-by-play voice of Wisconsin Badger Hockey.
Brown began his career at WBAY-TV in Green Bay where he covered the NFL’S Packers, contributing to pre and post game programming.
A former weekend triathlete, some of Brown’s interests now include tennis, ice skating, yoga and pilates.
Bears Need Continuity
Though the Bears have the weekend off, the offense should take some personal time to evaluate their weaknesses. “Sometimes the team has to step outside the coaches and they got to invest some personal time.
