since 9.9/10 until the present, the area betwenn 83rd and 85th of Yates Blvd has experienced approximately 12 nights without the benefit of street lights, Numerous calls have been made to 311 and Alderwoman Harris who both attribute this situation to thugs, yet nothing has been done to stop it. I always enjoy your investigative reporting. However, I have been looking in the papers for something about your investigation of Maria Pappas, and have found nothing. Is there a reason the press is not mentioning anything about her or any other irregularities in the county system? If so, shouldn’t you make it more visible, and be more persistent to uncover the great frauds and scams soaking the people of Cook County, and enriching the politicians. Maybe you should be a little more forceful with Maria Pappas the next time you interview her, and put her on the spot, so she gives you direct answers to your questions.

This tenant who has 9 previous evictions to his credit is using the Chicago Landlords Ordinance as a weapon to live freely in a high end rental for over a year. Back in Aug 30 2007, we had a closing on our business & we never received our money. We had a 10,000 a week business wehave no business, no money for the sale of our business& we are paying 500.00 a month for the loan that we took out for the business. We are on our fifth lawyer & our second judge. How can this be something I sent right. Before our closing date I had all bil’s taken out of our name. The credit card machine that we had in the business was turned off & my partners lawyer turned it back on in my name. I have had 10, 000 dollars in damages done to my trailer. I can’t get no body to help me. The lawyers are all sticking together. How can some body just steal your business & just get away with it. This is criminal. Please,please help us expose this!!! Are you willing to look at the BBB . They want personel information about my business to change a bad rating they have given me . I have never had a complaint until recently . It was by a customer who called us but was not even charged by us . I have a small business that I believe is being damaged by this rating.I also noticed that they put this false complaint in my profile . I complained against the BBB because of the fact they were trying to make me join them and by some miracle it does not show in their profile .I believe that if you pay them to be accredited that they do not give you a bad rating or they claim to not have enough information about the companies but at the same time they are accredited business with the BBB .
