Tall Ships Sail and Parade into Chicago
377485 04: The Nina, a 72-foot, three-masted 15th century caravel replica ship sails into Chicago’s Navy Pier August 31, 2000 as she participates in a “Parade of Sail,” kicking off a Labor Day weekend event titled “AT&T Tall Ships Chicago.” The Picton Castle, built in 1928 is dedicated to sailing around the world and delivers much needed supplies and trade goods to remote tropical islands during its voyages.
