Man Charged With Kidnapping Baby Daughter At Gunpoint

Nathaniel Lawson, 22, was charged with one count of home invasion, child abduction, aggravated unlawful restraint and robbery – all felonies – according to a statement from Chicago Police.

Toddler Found Wandering Outside Without Coat, Hat, Or Shoes

Someone found the 2-year-old boy shortly before midnight Thursday night, wandering near the corner of 82nd Street and Avalon Avenue, and called police. The temperature was in the single digits at the time.

Suspect Charged In Chatham Robbery, Shooting

Melvin L. Martin, 29, allegedly approached a 27-year-old man sitting in a vehicle in the 800 block of East 82nd Street a few minutes after 1 a.m. Wednesday and announced a robbery. He took the man’s wallet before firing multiple times and running away.
