Kenneth K. Jackson, 31, is charged with first-degree murder, murder during commission of a felony, and mob action, all felonies, in connection with the death of 16-year-old Michael Flournoy III, according to a statement from Chicago Police.
The attacker is said to be between 19 and 23. Police said the man approached the girl as she walked east on 93rd Street at Cornell Avenue, made small talk for several minutes, then pulled out a handgun and forced her into an alley near 93rd Street and East End Avenue, where the attack occurred.
The child fell from a building in the 700 block of East 93rd Street about 7:15 p.m.
