Frigid conditions in the Chicago area continued to create problems for drivers, commuters, and air travelers, leaving passengers stuck at the airport, and even stranded on Amtrak trains headed to Chicago.

500 Travelers Stranded Overnight On Snowbound Amtrak Trains

Most of the 500 Amtrak passengers who spent the night onboard three trains stranded in snow in northern Illinois are finally heading to Chicago, rail line officials said Tuesday morning.
