Earth Day With The Kids

Audit: City Failed To Track, Replace Sick Trees

A 2-1/2 year audit, timed to coincide with Arbor Day, found that the City of Chicago may have lost nearly $500,000 by failing to track which of its newly-planted trees were ailing, and seeking replacements.
