A man suspected of robbing a bank in west suburban River Forest Saturday morning was arrested mere blocks away from the bank as he tried to make his escape, authorities said.
A gunman robbed a southwest suburban First Midwest Bank branch Monday afternoon, firing two shots inside the bank but wounding no one, authorities said.
The alleged “No Boundaries Bandit,” who is suspected of robbing at least 13 banks in the Chicago area, has been charged in federal court with robbing a Southwest Side bank. He was arrested by Cicero police over the weekend.
