Notre Dame soared over DePaul Thursday night. The Irish won their fourth straight game while the Blue Demons losing streak is now nine straight.

The Blue Demons were only barely ahead at the half, but pulled away entering the second half. Geoff McCammon scored a career-high in points for Loyola of Chicago, but DePaul refused to fall behind.
In an almost even game, the Blue Demons and Cardinals took the game into overtime. DePaul fell to Ball State by just two points before the end of overtime, losing 79-77.
DePaul nearly lost to Central Michigan with only a two point lead with nine minutes left in the game. The Blue Demons finally pulled away and left the Chippewas behind during the final six minutes of the game to win 71-62.
Tony Freeland scored a career-high 25 points and Brandon Young added 17 as DePaul defeated Northern Illinois 86-84 on Thursday night.
DePaul brought the Standford into overtime but fell short, losing 81-74. Stanford’s Jeremy Green also collapsed after the game needing medical attention.
The DePaul Blue Demons defeated Chicago State for their season opener. This earned DePaul’s new coach Oliver Purnell his first win at DePaul also.
