About 12:25 a.m., a 19-year-old woman driving an SUV eastbound on 79th Street near Crandon Avenue swerved to avoid a crash with a westbound vehicle and struck a commercial building, police said.
A speeding car was heading east on Madison Street about 2:30 a.m. when it struck a van near Keeler Avenue, police said. The car then struck another car and a fire hydrant before hitting a building.
