Car Into House
A northwest suburban home was deemed uninhabitable after a car was driven into its closed garage Friday morning.
The incident occurred about 11:30 p.m. in the 200 block of East 141st Street after a woman lost control of her vehicle, drove through the home’s fence and ultimately struck the rear of the residence.
The couple and driver suffered only minor injuries.
According to witnesses, a white BMW was traveling at a high rate of speed while turning west onto 87th Street from Indiana Avenue, when the driver lost control, and struck a home at 77 E. 87th St. about 5:15 a.m.
A red Pontiac Aztek left State Road east of 79th Street, and slammed into a one-story brick house at about 2:30 a.m.
