Whatever hopes the Chicago White Sox have of making a playoff run essentially come down this weekend’s series against the Central Division leading Detroit Tigers.
The complete schedules for the first round of the NBA Playoffs won’t be released until Wednesday night, but the Chicago Bulls have announced that their opening game will take place on Saturday (4/16) at 12 noon (CST).
The Chicago Bulls were on a roll and approaching their first division title in 13 years when Carlos Boozer suffered an injury. But overcoming injuries is nothing new to this Bulls team.
The Bulls are one of the hottest teams in the NBA, they’ve won 13 of their last 15 games and sit just three games behind Boston for the top spot in the Eastern Conference.
The Chicago Bulls have only had their full roster healthy for a few games this season. And despite that they’re playing well enough to lead the Central Division and sit in third in the Eastern Conference.
It seems as if the Blackhawks have figured everything out this season. The team is showing flashes of last year’s brilliance, and they’re going for their third straight victory.
The Blackhawks and Red Wings will add another game to their long-standing rivalry tonight in the United Center.
Wednesday night at the United Center was supposed to be one of anticipation and excitement for Bulls fans.
