Police said a white van pulled up next to two 9-year-old boys as they were walking home from Howe Elementary School on Monday afternoon, walking south on Lorel Avenue toward Huron Street. A man got out of the van, and said, “Come here, I got some candy for you,” while holding candy.
The man asked, “Hey come in here, have you ever tried chocolate chip cookies?” The girl kept walking and the man pulled into a driveway, blocking her path.
About 6:30 p.m. on Sept. 30, a girl was near the intersection of Henderson and Cicero when she was approached by a man driving a black-colored car, according to an alert issued by Chicago Police.
