CPS Cancels Classes Monday

CPS buildings will remain open and accept students who still arrive at schools. Libraries and park district buildings will be open Monday, too, officials said.

DeVry, Chamberlain Campuses Closed Due To Email Threat

DeVry has four campuses in the Chicago area – in the Loop, in North Center, near O’Hare International Airport, and in north suburban Gurnee. Chamberlain has campuses in North Center, south suburban Tinley Park, and west suburban Addison.

CPS To Close Schools On Tuesday

The Chicago Public Schools will close for a second day on Tuesday due to the extreme cold.

Chicago Gripped By Record Cold; Schools Closed, Public Transit Delayed

With the Chicago area stuck in a deep freeze through Tuesday, virtually all local schools have canceled classes for Monday, and local officials were advising residents to stay inside as much as possible, as temperatures are expected to remain below zero until Tuesday night.
