How To File A ‘Cramming’ Claim Against Sprint, Verizon

Attorney General Lisa Madigan today joined with her counterparts around the country, the U.S. Consumer Financial Protection Bureau and the Federal Communications Commission to announce settlements with Sprint Corporation and Verizon Wireless totaling $158 million to resolve allegations that the companies placed third-party charges on their customers’ cell phone bills, a practice known as “cramming.”
