Just after midnight, she was on a sidewalk in the 3600 block of West Douglas Boulevard when two males walked up and one of them opened fire, police News Affairs Officer Hector Alfaro said.
The victims included a man who was shot to death while riding bike in the Englewood neighborhood.
The 28-year-old victim was stabbed to death at his West Side home in the 3300 block of West Douglas Boulevard about 12:40 a.m.
The most recent shooting occurred early Monday in the Belmont Cragin neighborhood on the Northwest Side.
