Farrell: White Sox Fantasy Camp, Weekend EditionPlayoffs! I’m talkin ‘bout playoffs! The first round of playoffs kicked off this morning and we had to play Ed Hermann and Bobby Thigpen’s team; a rematch from Wednesday’s tie, and my strikeout to end the game redemption.
Rongey: Sox (Fantasy) Camp, Sniffing For ChampionshipAnd that's as close as we would get. Because of camp format, we were somehow still able to play for a chance to be in the championship game on Sunday, even though we had only won one game.
Farrell: My Week At The White Sox Fantasy CampThe day started off with an early morning wakeup call at 6:30am. We met outside the hotel for our shuttle to pick us up and head on over to the stadium. Once we arrived we got situated in our lockers and headed over to the dining area for some breakfast all cooked up and ready.
Rongey: Sox (Fantasy) Camp, Day ThreeHoly crap, we won a game There was a strong chance the OBI's were going to finish the first 3 days without a single win, but after starting 0-5, everything fell into place in the second game of the day.
Rongey: Sox (Fantasy) Camp, Day TwoAlmost took Donn Pall deep OK, it's not nearly as impressive as it sounds, and to be perfectly honest, I'm not sure it would be that impressive if it was exactly as it sounds. Made my best contact of the camp today when I hit one to the warning track in left center. True warning track power with a composite bat. I'm awesome.
Rongey: Sox (Fantasy) Camp, Day OneComing back for a second year is like coming back to school after summer break, except you're off for 11 3/4 months and you'd much rather be in school (camp) than be on break (real world).
Farrell: 'Like The VIP Room Of A Vegas Night Club'First of all, I cannot thank 670 The Score and the Chicago White Sox enough for this opportunity. This is I dream come true. I feel like Archie Graham walking onto that baseball field in the middle of the farmland for the first time.
